Shown "MailBox Size" in Admin-Console 2014R2-HP1

Hello,

just a question. If you click left on Users, in the right all users are shown with the informations in columns which you can configure and which can be exported to a csv file.
There is a column with "Actual Mailbox Size". How does this value get updated ?

I have had a User with more than 20GB shown in this view. After the user emptied a lot of folders and the trash, the value doesnt change.

I've done mailbox maintenances, but the value is still the same.

Any ideas ?

Hi,

Run GWCheck against the user, untick structure, tick contents, tick Update Disk Space totals.

That should do it for you.

Please let us know.

Hi,

My apologies! Run an Audit Report against the Post Office. That should do it for you.

Please let us know.

Hello again,

Audit Report against PO, against User, repairs, checks, everything tested.
The value in the admin-console is still the same size.

Any other ideas ?

Hi,

Hmmm.... audit report did it for me! Ran the report, once it finished, logged out of Admin Console (not really necessary, I don't think) logged in again and values reflected correctly.

The only other thing that I can think of is a restart of the Admin service.

Cheers,

Worked !

After the third report against PO the value refreshed 🙂
Dont know why it doesnt work directly after the first report, or the second report, but the third report did it.

Thanks again....

Hi,

Not too sure why the first one's didn't work as mine worked immediately! I'm just glad that it is working now - many thanks for reporting back.

Cheers,
