Unable to upgrade to Object.Unable to find Admin. resource

To whom it may concern

Our GroupWise server are all on SLES 11 SP3.

We upgraded all our Domains and Post Office Agents from GroupWise 2012 SP4 to GroupWise 2014 SP2.Although it shows on the terminal that the rpm is upgraded and on the webconsole, it does not show that the Post Offices were upgraded to GroupWise 2014 SP2 on the new Admin. console.

The primary Domain is definitely upgraded. There is currently no transferring of mails taking place between the 13 Post Office agents. We also tried the gwadminutil upgrade command without any success.

Regards

Re: Unable to upgrade to Object.Unable to find Admin. resour

Hi,

Please double-check something for me.... open up a POA log file and a few lines from the top look for this:

Database Version: 1400

What does your log file report?

Re: Unable to upgrade to Object.Unable to find Admin. resour

We solved the error Unable to find Admin. resource. The tab request is, add the "Primary Domain MTA address", if you want to upgrade the Secondary POA's.

When adding the IP address it gives you the above error. We used the DNS name and not the IP address, and it then we could only continue with the upgrade.Could this be a bug ?

We then restarted our host where our GroupWise GWIA and primary was running, and all the mails was delivered again.

The problem is solved.
