User device error

I have a user having problems with GMS, it has happened 4 times now. I
see an alert on the GMS console:

Invalid None folder encountered.

Response recommends the user remove the GMS account on their device and
re-add it.

User has a Samsung Galaxy s4, I'm running the s4 mini and have never
had a problem.

Any ideas?

I've seen that message happen as well for different units, an iPad and a
Samsung being involved. I am investigating, but haven't found anything
of note yet.
