Verify of Container Failed

I am installing my first NDSMP on SLES 11 SP2. Groupwise is version 8 SP3 on a Netware 6.5 SP8 server. I am getting the above error after I click Next on the LDAP user Container screen.

I have entered the correct containers for both the LDAP Users and Groups. When I click on the browse button, I get a "Connection to the LDAP server cannot be established" error. On the previous screen it did accept my LDAP admin user id and password.

Whats the best way to troubleshoot this error or what is it that I am missing?

Thanks

- an eDir health check wouldn't be a bad idea
- one way to make sure your LDAP is running correctly would be to check
it using http://directory.apache.org/studio/
- make sure you are using comma's not dot's as separators
- typeful vs typeless, you might need to try the other way than you
entered (whether or not you put in the ou= bits)
