Windows 8 Mobile

I am not having luck with the new Windows 8 phones connecting to Mobility. The device keeps telling me that there are security policies on the server. I am using a DigiCert Named cert on the server, and all other devices work fine. The Windows 8 Phone even has all the root certs from Digi on it. Anyone else had success with this device?

I am running the latest DS software.

I installed this today, but it didn't fix the attachment problem

That's a separate known issue.

Actually it's not a Novell issue. The attachment issue is a Microsoft
one and exists even if you sync it to Exchange Server. Microsoft is
currently working on an update for the Surface devices which should
resolve the problem.

As Joe mentioned this is a bug in their email client.
We reported this to Microsoft and they acknowledged the bug and claimed it has now been fixed in their latest version of the email client (which is the same for the Desktop OS, Surface and phones).
However this "latest version" is not yet released and Microsoft was unable to tell us when this will happen.
So, we need to wait...

Have upgraded to 1.2.5 build 256. Trying to connect Samsung Windows 8 tablet. Entered all information as if on iPhone connecting to Exhange server. "Unable to connect. Ensure information you have entered is correct." I am trying to help a user setup her Win8 phone and I don't have one to test with. I figured iPhone and iPad were pretty much the same, why not Windows 8 phone and Win8 tablet. Any ideas or information concerning tablet connectivity?
Thanks,
Bill

Bill,

I don't know if it matters for this issue, but 1.2.5 Build 299 has
been out for at least a month. You might want to upgrade and see if
that helps.

Ken
