Windows Client Hangs

I have a user that recently allowed the fall creators update to his Windows 10 computer to be applied. Prior to that update, his GW 2014 client worked as expected. However, after the update, the client shows the splash screen and then hangs. It does not open, nor does it report any errors. The gw process continues to run. Notify seems to work as expected. He gets notifications of email and calendar events. I had him uninstall and remove all directory structure pertaining to GW. He also purged the registry of gw entries. He reinstall using the latest client GW2014.2HP1. Same results. He rolled back the Windows update, gw still will not open.

Any ideas?

Thanks
