Windows client crashes for certain mailbox

Have here w7-64 and windows clients from 14.0.0 build 116215 and client
from 14.0.1

both clients are hanging after successfully connected to poa, when they
in the basic folder view.
left pane shows the mailbox structure, middle pane is the calendar,
which is displayed correctly, right pane should be the messages, which
remains empty.

Error occures on several workstations.
Webaccess working fine.

I have run several gwchecks including structural rebuild and reset of
client settings with no effect.

PO is still on 14.0.0

Any hints?
Thx in advance

Is this just one mailbox? Maybe a problem with one email... I had
the opposite occur where a bad email caused problems for web access,
but not for the windows client. We found the problem email by moving
the emails in groups from the inbox to a folder. Archiving and then
unarchiving the problem email fixed it. Maybe try that.

Hi Gotthard,

Any errors in the POA log file, set in Verbose mode, when this client connects?

Cheers,

This reminds me to a similar problem some weeks ago. I will check it
next week. Thx for the hint.

Re: Windows client crashes for certain mailbox

Hello,

the error is off in the cloud /-)

Asked the user yesterday, what to do with the mailbox and she answers:
"Why? It works already!"

Self healing software...

My own research:

Have found a client under w2k3 32bit works, but running w7pro 64bit, the
client hangs without message.

<user> has problems accessing the archive. Gwcheck against the archive
ends with some errors (retranslated from german)

grpwise.exe /safe works, but that´s not helpful.

Could create a cache in safe mode. After restarting in caching mode, the
client runs in w7-64 with the message d107 "record not found. Call
administrator". A switch to archive mode ends also with error 107 and
the client remains in caching mode.

I don´t know how to set the options to recreate a correct archive.
msg.db is missing, the folder index is empty.
