admin password reset

Is it possible to reset the admin users password? I see the password file located in /etc/datasync/configengine/passwd.admins

Not sure why, but I cannot login with my usual credentials...

Re: admin password reset

Update...I changed the admin password for eDirectory (of course I was using that account to query eDirectory for other accounts), I can see the log files saying the service cannot login using the credentials supplied with the installation. Anyway to change? Or just reinstall?

Hmm... I'm not sure what that's for, but the admins are LDAP users and
defined in /etc/datasync/configengine/configengine.xml in the <admins>
section.

Do you mean you changed the password of the eDir account used by
Mobility for LDAP access? If so, you can change this by editing the
<password> field in the <login> section of
/etc/datasync/configengine/configengine.xml. You can then restart the
configengine using "rcdatasync-configengine restart" or you can simply
restart all services using "rcdatasync restart."
