Actually you might want to try updating to build 183 (Mobility Update
2) to see if that helps.

Re: Antw: changed appointments get not resynched on Iphone 4

hi joseph

okay, i did the update today. the difference between before is now, that the appointments get twice on the iphone, the old
and the new appointment......not the right solution yet.

also, when i login to the datasynch, i have the new version 1941, but the admin-pages seems to be the old ones...i have no new
signs and icons there...

thanks

Sascha

Re: changed appointments get not resynched on Iphone 4

i think i have the same issue with iphone (all versions).

- create an appointment with iphone! (not posted) with somebody.
- sync ok
- move appointment with iphone! to another day
- appointment show up correct on my groupwise and iphone, but show up twice in groupwise of the recipients.

but, if the appointment is moved in groupwise it works well. also if the appointment was originally created with groupwise and moved with iphone it works well.

i have open an sr with novell technical support. nts figured out, that this is only happen, when groupwise internet addressing is set to firstname.lastname or lastname.firstname. if groupwise internet addressing is setting to username@domain.net it works well.
i'm waiting for nts for an solution, as we dont want change internet addressing to username@domain.net

can u confirm this?

Antw: Re: changed appointments get not resynched on Iphone 4

hi Christian 🙂

it solved my problem not, when i changed the e-mail adress to username@domain.net

i actually tested it only from creating from Groupwise, because i think in
Iphone, there you cant create a appointment with others, or am i wrong ?

so let's see what novell is doing about this bug....

thanks

best regards

Sascha

Re: Antw: Re: changed appointments get not resynched on Ipho

I had this problem also by a user with iphone 4.
But i've removed the user, and re-add the user again and the problem was gone so far.
