client issues

Anyone know if any other 2014r2 client versions are in the works yet,
like an ftf version?

We are looking at moving to 2014r2, but the posts I've seen about
client issues have me concerned. I don't want my boss's boss to get
notify popups from emails, etc clear back to 2000, etc.
