dbcopy

I have a gw 802 hp2 on a sles 11 sp 1 oes 11 box.
I'm trying to do a dbcopy.

This is the error.

groupwise:/opt/novell/groupwise/agents/bin # ./dbcopy -v /mail/groupwise/mail/domain/ /mnt/backup/backup1/domain/
Error: Opening log file '' failed

/mail/groupwise/mail/domain is a nss partition
/mnt/backup is a nfs mount

I have also tried a cifs mount for /mnt/backup.
I have added the noserverino for cifs as per tid 7007410.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Tom

Re: dbcopy

Who are you logged in to the server as? It sounds like you don't have enough rights to create/write the dbcopy log file (which I'm assuming is either going to the current directory or /var/log)

Re: dbcopy

From what I read, the log file goes to the destination dir.

I can touch a file, rm, mkdir, and rmdir on the mount.
