gms: installing client via web

hi everybody

i want to sync mail and appointments to a nokia 9300. how can i get the client via web on my phone.


my telephon-provider isn`t listed so i get no sms with link.


my provider ist vodafone (respectively: a1 in austria)

Does the client have a browser? If so, point it at http://gmsserver/install

thx,

when i get there i have to authenticate.

but after authentication nothing happens and i get back to the login-site. if i write a wrong pw, i get "authentication failed"

with the browser the pc i can authenticate and come to my site.

Hmm... sounds like the browser isn't supported, then. Back to the SMS
thing... just because your provider isn't listed doesn't mean it can't
work. Does your phone have an associated email address that SMS can be
sent to? I've not heard of a provider that *doesn't* have such
functionality, but then I'm in the US... in any case, if your provider
does have an email address associated with your phone, you can simply
enter that into the SMS settings of the user's account. You will also
need to make sure you enable relaying for the GMS on your GWIA, or the
messages won't get out.

i mailed the url myself, copied in a websms.site
