iOS Devices - Account Description must be set to Exchange

I've noticed a strange thing with Data Synchronizer. When adding an account to an iOS device (iPhone or iPad) if I change the "Account Description" from the default of Exchange, the device will continually error out saying that it cannot connect to the server. Not a big deal, but people do tend to want to name the account with the company name rather than "Exchange". I'm wondering anyone else has this "problem". I'm new to Data Synchronizer and our system only has four devices on it (all iOS). It seems very strange that a description field could cause such a problem.

Thanks!

I have at least 30 iPads connecting, plus a few iPhones and iPods. No
one reporting that problem here. My iPad and iPod both have company
name for description. And I believe most people here are also using
company name.

I don't see this problem either, and have never left the description as
"Exchange".

Are there any indications in the logs that show some kind of an error on
connection?

Re: iOS Devices - Account Description must be set to Exchang

I dont think this issue is related to changing your account name to another. there must be something else, have you taken a look at the logs, maybe there is a lot of traffic and this might be the reason the device is not syncing properly. Please provide more details about the devices and the mobility version.
