mail remains on server ?

I am sorry if I am asking this question in wrong forum(may be I should ask this question in 'GW8: Clients')

I am using GW8 client in cache mode, but still emails stays/remains on server.

what to do on server/client, so that emails download on client, and remove from server ? any document/url/suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards

Correct, the online & caching mailboxes are synchronized so that what
appears in one appears in the other with the exception of the trash.

Can't do that. If you delete messages from the online mailbox they will
delete from the caching mailbox and vice versa. This isn't like POP/IMAP
where the mailbox in the mail reader is really a separate mailbox from
the online mailbox.

You sure you really want that ? GroupWise is generally used as a
corporate email system. In those cases companies want to hang on to the
user's emails. When you implement something like what you want it means
you loose the emaisl when users leave your organisation.

you could do this with a pop account... though I agree with all the
comments made.
