nntp support

Dear All,
is there any way - or does anyone know about a planned feature - to read
newsgroups (ninth) directly inside groupwise client?

Regards,
Joe

Re: nntp support

Hi Joe,

First you need to enable NNTP in the GroupWise admin console. This is done in the client options at domain, post office, or user level. Next you need to be aware that NNTP is only supported when the GroupWise client is in online mode. NNTP support within GroupWise has been around for years.

Here's some information about how to use NNTP in the GroupWise client: https://www.novell.com/documentation/groupwise2014r2/gw2014_guide_userwin/data/newsgroups.html

Cheers,

Actuallly, groupwise can do that almost forever. It needs to be enabled
in the client options on the PO though.
