no docx when use the share by email option word2016

I still have a problem with attaching docx when using the share by email option in word 2016.

The suspection is the combination symantex 12.1 ru6 mp6 .
Once installed i cannot do the share by email option . after removing it , its still not working .

i dont have the trouble when i save it as a *.doc very confusing any suggestions?

Everything you've said point to the Symantec AV blocking docx extensions being shared, I suspect regardless of the email client involved - you could test by installing a different one and see if the same occurs. If the issue is persistent across email clients then you'll need to follow up with Symantec support.

that was my suspection aswell.
But after i installed outlook2016mapi from the office 2016 suite , the **** thing was working.

i didnt know that GROUPWISE needs microsoft Outlook for it to work properly.

And now you know. MAPI dll hell has been a common issue because
Microsoft just doesn't want to play nice with it. The old "you have to
use our standard, but then we will ignore other ways it is used,
especially from competitors".
