ton of files in <domainfolder>\mslocal\mshold\webefce\2

I have Groupwise 2014 SP2. I just noticed I have a ton of files in the <domainfolder>\mslocal\mshold\webefce\2 and the <domainfolder>\mslocal\mshold\webfd1e\2 I did some research and it looks like this folder is the Admin queue, at least I think. What are the files in this folder and can they be deleted?

Thanks,
Andrew

Andrew,

depends. If they are pretty recent, they indicate a communication problem. If it's old stuff, there was a communication problem: You may delete them. Consider some maintenance on the domain(s), like a recover or better, a rebuild, if you think some changes may not have propagated throughout the system.

Generally speaking, the directories should be empty on a system that's working properly.

Thanks, The bulk of them are old so I will just delete them and keep an eye on things.

What kind of a "domain" or gateway do you have that is named starting with WEB? Did you have an old "WebAccess" domain that was required prior to GW 2012 and it never got deleted, but no longer has an MTA running?

I did have an old "WebAccess" domain that was required for Groupwise 8. I did not get it removed yet and I do have the MTA for that domain shut down.
