user move stuck with error 0xd70e

Hi,

above problem
1 user successfully moved
5 other have this error in user move status

in user table they are have already the new postoffice, but in fact
there were no folders and messages moved.

I found a very old tid 7005789, and nothing newer.
Validate of the affected domain databases runs w/o error
Also the PO databases

last order in tid says "remove the user". I don´t really want this 🙂
at this state.

Is there any document at MF with the actual error codes?
Even I found an error list from Groupwise 6.5

Thx in advance

Gotthard

Re: user move stuck with error 0xd70e

Hello,

Update:
over night the affected users going back to the old PO.

So I deleted the move status and tried a new move. Now I get an error db0a.

Also there in KB no advices for this error :-((

with regards
Gotthard

You seem to have inconstancies in your groupwise system. The first error
means "duplicate record", when this happens on a user move there is
already something wrong in your databases before you start the move.

The second one now simply indicates yoour source post office does no
longer think it's his user you're trying to move, and thús doesn't find it.

It may be time for a top-down-rebuild of your system. Here's some old
thread with some additional information:

http://codeverge.com/novell.groupwise.7x.agents/duplicate-entry-found-in-database/1965683

Especially check for old gateway aliases.

Re: user move stuck with error 0xd70e

Hello,

after TDR I could start a new move. It´s just running.

One account is greyed out in user list. Status is "move pending".
Weird. In system-status user move is no pending action regarding this user.

Re: user move stuck with error 0xd70e

Hi,

last message after successful repair
also the last user, who was greyed out because of "pending move", could
be reactivated.
Over night this move appears in system - pending operations. I could
click undo and the user status reverts to normal.

I´m missing some mails for this user, which routed to the new user db.
My idea is to resolve this over the restore area. I have just
investigated, dbcopy copies the files regardless from the real po
configuration.

All will have a good end
Thx to all here especially Massimo
