Enhanced User Operations for OOTB vCenter Capsule

It would be nice to go deeper than only Stop / Start / Restart for OOTB User Operations associated to OOTB vCenter designs.

The idea would be to have all the operations one could do on a VM on vCenter directly OOTB for all designs.

Disk Management : Add / Modify / Remove / Extend

Snapshot : Take / Delete / Revert

NIC : Add / Modify / Remove

Full CPU / Memory Management

VM : Clone / Rename / Migrate / Convert to Template / Deploy from Template / Install VMWare Tools.

Alarm : Add / Modify / Remove

Inventory Management.

All the actions are already in a CP. They should be OOTB in all vCenter designs for all VMs. One could still hide the actions that is not required, but as a single point of consumption for legacy / cloud / paas, HCM should at least provide all actions one could do in a vCenter.

This one could become tricky, as it is dependent on the Network provisioning architecture within the target vCenter: NIC : Add / Modify / Remove

E.g. if the customer does not want to have all VM's (of different departments, sub customers in case of MSP)  land on the same Vlan/subnet, which I see often, add NIC is always a custom OO/CSA development job.

I think this will be too tricky to resolve. "Remove Disk" sounds so simple, but what about data and file systems and possibly LVM?

Modification of NICs/Disks is also challenging.

I would love to see just half of this implemented. It would already be a big step forward.

Better OOTB vCenter content would be a great addition.

As well as list above, ability to select Cluster, Resource Pool and VLAN Group / Subnet for a NIC.
