CSA with CMS

Hi all,

I have a scenario where  CloudSystemMatrix in its exsiting environment - which is not currently utilized - in any cloud prespective.

On top of that, we have newly proposed CSA/OO, SA, SiS, VCenter will come to play. I can see the integration between CSA/OO, SA, SiS & vCenter is sufficient enough for a private IaaS cloud deployment.

I want to know how CSM would come into the integration - if any - in this setup. We can only see CSM being used in MRM scenario.

I was able to find some info about CSM in the CSA documentation.  Here it is:

From the concepts guide:

HP CloudSystem Matrix

An integrated HP CSA component that provides a converged infrastructure platform for private cloud deployments, including HP Matrix Operating Environment infrastructure orchestration (infrastructure orchestration) software for interactive service design and HP BladeSystem for blade architecture.

CSA and OO integration guide:

Resource provider - A management platform that provides either Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to the cloud. For example, a provider such as HP CloudSystem Matrix deploys virtual machines, while a provider such as HP SiteScope monitors applications.

I hope this answers your question in regards to the value that CSM can bring to the integration.
