Reviews Notifications not working

Hi

We are having problem to send emails notifications in the reviews process, the weird thing is that if we send it manual via the “start in preview” it works, so we are discarding a problem with the SMTP server.

Enviroment:

  • Identity Governance server version 3.6.0, revisión 37242
  • ActiveMQ version 5.15.9
  • Zulu 8.40.0.25 jdk 8.0.222
  • apache-tomcat-9.0.30
  • Oracle 18c Database

When we send an email preview it works fine, we can see the queue and the dispatch in activeMQ, but when we go live in the review we dont see any queue on ActiveMQ.

any ideas?

Greetings,
     The issue here is related to a collected Mixed Case email address. The issue will be addressed. A work-around would be to utilize input transformation on the email field to save it in lowercase.   This will not change the email address from the host system, just want is saved in the ID Gov database.

Greetings,
Which notification specific notification appears to not be received? Is it the Certify Task Pending” notification?
Do you have any errors or warnings in the two (2) catalina logs?

Hi Steven,

It is on the "Review Definitions" -> Start Review -> Start and Go live process, for example the "review start notice"  notification.

I have the following trace levels configured:

<logger additivity="true" name="com.netiq.iac" level="DEBUG"/>

        <logger additivity="true" name="com.novell.soa" level="DEBUG"/>

        <logger additivity="true" name="com.netiq.iac.AuthPermissions" level="INFO"/>

        <logger additivity="true" name="com.netiq.iac.server.admin" level="INFO"/>

        <logger additivity="true" name="com.netiq.iac.server.rest" level="DEBUG"/>

        <logger additivity="true" name="com.netiq.iac.server.security" level="INFO"/>

        <logger additivity="true" name="com.netiq.iac.server.spi" level="INFO"/>

        <logger additivity="true" name="com.netiq.persist" level="INFO"/>

And i dont see any error on the catalina.2020-04-23.log neither the catalina.out (attached the log)

The email you are looking for is the one that I referenced, "Certify Task Pending".  I would suggest that you open a Service Request with Support to receive assistance at this point.
