For the second consecutive year, Micro Focus' Data Center Automation (DCA) has won the gold medal for being the top-rated software in Info-Tech’s 2020 Software Reviews for their data center automation category.
In a stacked field of competitors, DCA finished in either first or second in 16 out of 22 categories that tracked real user's satisfaction across both vendor capabilities and product features. These strong showings resulted in DCA finishing with the highest overall composite score out of all competitors and earning the top spot in their Software Reviews 2020 Data Quadrant.
What makes Info-Tech's Software Reviews so special? Well, for starters, their analysis is based on real end-user data. Info-Tech conducts research during the year that is rigorously vetted to ensure that the information comes from actual end users of the products they are evaluating. They then validate the data and ensure that the products that are included in the results have enough reviews and data to be statistically significant. All this means that the final data that you see in their report comes from professionals that use the products and are familiar with them.
Info-Tech evaluates vendors across a handful of categories, including vendor capabilities and product features - with each category containing a number of different areas that the vendor or software is rated on. While DCA took the top honors in a number of these areas, there are two in particular that stand out. First, DCA was ranked first in the "Business Value Created" category. This category highlights the satisfaction level that end users have with the business value derived from each offering. After all, a key component when deciding which software to purchase is ROI, or business value that can be obtained from using that software.
Another important category that goes hand-in-hand with the business value derived category is the "Quality of Features" category. This category measures a software's ability to deliver on the features that it claims it can perform. In other words, when it comes down to how a software performs were you just sold marketing hype, or does the software actually do what it is intended to do? Again, DCA finished in the top spot in this category.
If you combine both of those categories you can see that end users feel that DCA delivers high quality features and creates a tremendous amount of business value, helping you to achieve ROI quicker!
