Micro Focus Universe 2018 is the first Micro Focus customer forum that we are hosting as a combined company. It will take place at the Grimaldi congress center in Monaco, March 13-15.

When you attend the event, I encourage you to join the ITOM Customer Forum to experience and learn from your industry peers. Société Générale will discuss how they migrated their Service Anywhere SaaS deployment to the next generation Service Management Automation (SMA-X) platform based on containers.

James Hutton Institute will share experiences about their journey from Service Anywhere to the container-based Service Management Automation X (SMA-X), and the experiences of best practices related to SMA-X self-service portal.

Evonik discusses how, coming from an old ITSM environment, they implemented ITSM based on Service Manager, catalog, Universal CMDB, and Operations Orchestration. They will also explore what the current ITOM landscape looks like. You can also benefit from what Evonik learned since they went live with the solution in 2016, and what their next steps will be moving forward.

Sberbank will share their story of one the world's largest service desks based on Service Manager and Universal CMDB—and driven by DevOps. With about 200.000 users using the self-service desk, 120.000 interactions from users per day, and 200 integrations with other systems, Sberbank discusses how they implemented a fully automated process to release new functionality.

AfroCentric Group will share highlights of the key milestones they experienced along the way of achieving enterprise service management with Micro Focus ITSM. Then they will discuss the seven golden rules that were extrapolated from the lessons they learned as part of the reflection on the achievements of deploying enterprise service management (ESM) practices throughout the group.

Helse Nord IKT delivers IT services to hospitals in Northern Norway. Part of their role is to follow up with the vendors/suppliers and see that they keep the promises in the committed contracts. Join Helse Norf IKT to learn about how Service Manager improves quality and creates contract awareness.

IT.NRW will share the highlights of implementation, conceptual and technical challenges and learnings from implementing Micro Focus CMDB, allowing a federated holistic view into configuration information for contracting and accounting.

Telekom Serbia will share their experiences with the development of ITSM functionality and implementation of Service Manager. This discussion will range from incident, problem and change management to request, service catalog, knowledge, and service level management.
