As Day 2 comes to a close at this years Micro Focus ITOM Summit. This is a great time to provide insight around our biggest event in the Americas and how our customers are responding to our latest news and meeting with each other.
Day 1, an invite-only event, started with our Customer Advisory Board (CAB) meetings. This is where a select group of customers meet with the product management team to discuss their experiences, learn and provide feedback around our roadmap, and discuss solutions with their peers. The CAB is an essential part of our product development process and the product management team truly values the input and insight from the members. In return, the members of CAB appreciate access to the product experts and gave us a solid 4.9 rating (out of 5) around the content and organization of this key event.
Day 2 kicked off the full event with a packed house who heard Tom Goguen (General Manager, ITOM) announce the ITOM Platform, our continued development of the Container Deployment Foundation. Then in the break out sessions, we enjoyed presentations from leading companies around usage of the Network Operations Management toolset that allowed the audience to understand how peers overcame challenges in their environment. Additionally, the product management team led deep-dives around Managing SDN (Brian Kaplan) and Traffic Monitoring (Pete Zwetkof).
We’re looking forward to more insights tomorrow including the hands-on workshops that practitioners will be able to try out some of what they learned about at the breakouts. And, while the ITOM Summit is nearly done for this year, join us in Monaco for Micro Focus Universe so you can see the amazing trajectory of Network Operations Management for yourself and learn how peers are putting our tools to use in their environments.
