Training Matters

Powerful software is only as powerful as those who use it making user adoption is the best indicator of software success in achieving business goals.  Often when I talk about user adoption, people immediately assume I'm talking about avoiding shelfware.  While shelfware is an issue early in the life cycle, I see a bigger concern being potential software underuse – where informally trained users may familiarize themselves only with the capabilities needed to enable them to continue doing things the old familiar way, rather than adopting the new best practices that unleash the full benefits of the  software.  Underuse can be hard-to-detect.  A common indicator is that the business fails to realize the expected direct and downstream software benefits.  Training makes a difference.  

SMAX Next Generation Training

The digital learning training for SMAX is role-based so its relevant to the learner and delivered in a business use case context..  Training for two roles is available now on the education portal:

  • SMAX Service Desk
  • SMAX Support Engineer

There is an entire line-up of training coming for SMAX including digital learning courses for these roles:

  • Configuration and Asset managers
  • Service and Process Owners
  • Administrators
