week in February we had our #ITOMsummit in Phoenix, AZ. You can see a summary of the activities in Wes Cooper’s blog.
This was a mighty successful event for OpsBridge activities! We were busting at the seams in every session, full of details delivered by customer presenters from Exelon, Accenture, OpenText, T-Mobile and Sungard that customers really liked.
We also gave out copies of our new book entitled, “Next Generation Operations Management”.
There's another similar event coming up soon that you don't want to miss--this time, in Vienna.
All of you who join us in our OpsBridge activities at #MicroFocusUniverse in Vienna will receive a copy of an even better edition of our book! We’ve refined the content of our book and added prefaces from customers Luke Bradley of Vodafone, and Toine Jenniskens of Rabobank; two eminent architects who have a great deal of knowledge in evolving IT operations capabilities. We thank them and our manager Travis Greene who has added the third preface.
As you will see, we’ve written it in a way that is meant to inspire your thoughts and lead you to consider ideas and orientations that you might not have thought of. Most, if not all, come from our own experiences and customer discussions.
If that isn’t enough to entice you to attend, then here’s a few details about some of the OpsBridge sessions that you will be able follow.
The OpsBridge agenda schedules kick off with two sessions where customers discuss their implementations spanning Hybrid IT but including OpsBridge in both cases. These are sessions by Rabobank and Istanbul Grand Airport.
Following those we have:
Vodafone – A sturdy innovative digital service provider simply must have 24x7 high quality service delivery. Ahmed Azzat will describe the improvements they have made in operational efficiency described architecture, tools and processes they use and the benefits they gain. He’ll be describing even more progress they’ve made refining event streams, analytics, and use of automation. Sound familiar to what you are doing? Lots of others too, so his is a session you cannot miss.
Garanti Bankasi – Turkey’s 2nd biggest financial service provider. Cagdas Basaran will bring to life an amazing set of use cases that collectively describe why their line of business entities are repeatedly returning to IT for more and more collaboration. IT’s value is clear to them already so don’t miss his stories showing how IT has gained such status and the role of OpsBridge APM solutions in getting there.
Stay tuned for part 2 when I’ll describe more of our OpsBridge activities at #MicroFocusUniverse.
