2017 is almost over, but this year Santa lost track of time and delivered you a present for you to unwrap earlier than expected.  Micro Focus VM Explorer 6.7 is now generally available. (One week early!)

VM Explorer 6.7 includes the following highlights:

HPE 3PAR StoreServ storage snapshot support

StoreServ Storage.pngTogether, HPE 3PAR StoreServ all-flash arrays and VM Explorer create a powerful combination which enables customers to take advantage of storage snapshots during the backup process. This improves backup performance and reduces the workload on hypervisor hostHPE 3par.png

File Level Recovery for large file systems

File level recovery.pngVM Explorer 6.7 now features a new filtering capability within the File Explorer view. This enables customers to search and filter the view to one or more specific files. You can also leverage wildcards (*) in the filter. This feature enables VM Explorer to support File Level Recovery on large file systems, e.g. systems with 500,000 files in a single folder.

VMware VDDK update *

To keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, VM Explorer 6.7 now integrates with the latest VMware Virtual VDDK update.pngDisk Development Kit (VDDK) - v6.5.

OpenBSD 6.1
