pexels-photo-415999.jpegVegas, baby, Vegas! The place where fortunes have been won (and mostly lost), and a place that many in the enterprise software industry consider to be a second home. (There are few constants in the world of technology, but conferences in Las Vegas seem to be one of them!) Love Vegas or hate it, the leading minds in IT Service Management and Configuration Management will be gathering there again April 10-13 at the MGM Grand for HDI 2018, one of the leading global conferences for ITSM..

HDI touts itself as "the technical support industry's most comprehensive event" and provides ample education, networking, and career advancing opportunities over four days. This is also you opportunity to learn from ITSM technology leaders about the latest and greatest features within their solutions.

Since last year's HDI conference in Washington DC in May, we could not have been busier! Between the merger of HPE Software and Micro Focus to form the world's 7th largest software company, to the release of our new ITSM solution SMA-X, the announcement of our new container-based ITOM Platform, and exciting quarterly releases of our industry-leading Configration Management System, we have a lot to share with you this year!

SMA-X: in 2017, we strove to permantently change the way the service management solutions are deployed and used, and with this endeavor we released "Service Management Automation-X" or SMA-X in late 2017. This is the industry's first multi-tenant ITSM solution available on-premises virtualized, bare metal, or in public cloud on AWS. The solution is powered by our industry-leading machine learning at its core, and delivers one of the cleanest user experiences available today. Click here to see a quick overview, and head to our booth (#418) to see it live in action at the show! On Thursday 4/12, join our VP Roy Ritthaler for a breakfast briefing covering industry trends from his perspective and an overview of SMA-X.

ITOM Platform: in February, we announced the industry's first containerized microservices platform. The platform provides cross-solution IT Ops insights, composable deploy-once use anywhere microservices, an open development ecosystem for customized value, and a common API model. This platform provides a fresh take on how to conduct IT Service Management and IT Operations in general, and will provide insights to incident, problem, and change management not possible with standalone ITSM solutions.

Configuration Management System (CMS): we continue to develop our industry-leading discovery and CMDB into a solution that provides the solid foundation for ITSM and Hybrid IT in 2018 and beyond. With the release of CMS 11 in February, we have further invested into multi-cloud discovery, completely updated our UI, and added flexible licensing that best meets the needs of discovery in 2018 and beyond. Come visit our booth to get a personlized demo of our new UI, and understand how our enhancements can provide the best possible data for your service desk, connected with all IT Ops solutions!

HDI 2018 is going to be a great show, and we can't wait to speak with you at booth 418 about your ITSM and configuration management challenges and initiatives in 2018 and beyond! Between SMA-X, our ITOM Platform, and CMS enhancements, partnering with Micro Focus could be the safest bet you make in Las Vegas this year!
