DCA_dashboard.pngMicro Focus is proud to announce the latest version of our Data Center Automation (DCA) Suite - DCA 2019.08. In this latest version of DCA, we've worked hard to bring new functionality designed to deliver more business value to our customers.

Beginning with new policy extensions, customers are now able to define Operations Orchestration (OO) workflows that align with policy execution phases: pre and post scan, and pre and post remediation. What does this mean for your business? Well, let's say you create a workflow to provision a new server build. Once that's done, you can use the new policy extensions to automatically take a snapshot of the system, and then another action to go and close out the ticket in your service management tool! The new extensions provide the flexibility to customize pre and post actions in order to make your business processes more efficient and productive!

In addition to the new policy extensions, DCA 2019.08 also features additional compliance benchmarks aligned with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) for Windows Server 2019 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, as well as DISA STIG best practices for Windows 2016 resources. These updated benchmarks help your business identify and remediate compliance issues quickly and effectively.

Finally, DCA 2019.08 also features updates to the Database and Middleware Automation (DMA) component. DMA now supports Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Clusters, Oracle 18c Standalone Patching and Oracle 19c Standalone.
