DDMi Version - Command line option

Hi,

Is there a way to get the DDMi discovery agent's version from command line?

Like ..hpcagt -version(for HP OM)

I am trying to scan a list of machines for the agent's version(using hpSA).

Appreciate any help.

Thanks,

HD

Re: DDMi Version - Command line option

Yes, in order to run the commands manually from the command prompt use the following commands

Adjust the path to location of actual cxz file.

Windows: scan.exe -appliance -cfg:"C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Discovery Agent\scan.cxz"

UNIX type: ./scan -appliance -cfg:scan.cxz

Re: DDMi Version - Command line option

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no command that will show the agent version. You can use the add/remove programs information in the scan file, or pull this information from the windows systems registry.

Thanks
