DDMi admin accounts reset?

Hi guys,

I have just picked up a new client who has DDMi installed. They are having some troubles and i want to log in and see what's going on.

My issue is that i can't get any log on information from the client!
I've tried each of the four default accounts, but none of these worked, so i assume they were disabled at installation.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how i might be able to either reactivate the "admin" account or find and reset an existing account?

Hi Luke,

You can follow the steps below:

On the Enterprise Discovery server, open the Enterprise Discovery command prompt.
Navigate to the Enterprise Discovery program files directory (if not already there)
Default location for Enterprise Discovery v2.52 is C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Enterprise Discovery\2.52
For example, type cd 'C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Enterprise Discovery\2.52'
Navigate to the support\bin directory
Type cd support\bin
Run the resetpass.bat script
Type resetpass.bat
A temporary admin account is created
The username is lostpassword
The password is help
Log into the Enterprise Discovery web User Interface using the temporary password.
Go to Administration > Account administration to change the admin account password
Log out of Enterprise Discovery, close all browser windows.
Log back into Enterprise Discovery using the admin account with the new password.
