Scratch Directories

In the <ddmi application data>\database\ folder there are many subdirectories with names beginning with "Scratch". Are they required for the DDMI database to run or can they be deleted (some of them are several weeks old)?

Re: Scratch Directories

Scratch database(s) are used by DDMI during data import. They are supposed come and go.

Very likely, sometimes data import process is interrupted (such as due to unexpected Sysmon stop), and DDMI didn't have time to clean up Scratch database.

I wouldn't clean those folders manually as it might break data import process. If you don't have disk space issue you can ignore them.

If there are too many of them, you may have some problems with data import. I will suggest opening a support ticket, so that we can have a look at the logs to see if we can figure out the issue.
