Access Review installation with IDM4.5

Hi,

is it possible to install Access Review on the same server as IDM4.5?
I would like to prepare small IDM + AR demo on the same server. I has
tried this today but I have a lot of issue after the installation (e.g
UA does not work and i have a lot of log4j errors in the catalina.out).
....seems this does not work all to gather on the same server.

Regards,
Milan

I believe there is an obscure requirement that it in its own application
service, so you need to have it separate. I'd hope this is called out in
the documentation, of course, but I hope for a lot of things.

yes, i found that to use the UA and AR on the same server is not
supported but I wanted to try it 🙂
I will try to "hack it" with another instance of tomcat or linux
containers...
Thanks!

Greetings,
You *can* have them on their own Tomcat servers on the same Linux
server. But with the 1.0 and 1.1 releases of AR, it can not be deployed
on the same Tomcat server as the Identity Applications.

So, for AR 1.1 with IDM 4.5

Option #1:
Two Tomcats on the same server:
--Tomcat #1 Identity Applications (dash, landing, IDMProv, rra) &
Identity Reporting
--Tomcat #2 Access Review

Option #2:
Two Tomcats on the same server:
--Tomcat #1 Identity Applications (dash, landing, IDMProv, rra)
--Tomcat #2 Identity Reporting & Access Review

You could also have three (3) Tomcats on the one (1) server
--Tomcat #1 Identity Applications (dash, landing, IDMProv, rra)
--Tomcat #2 Identity Reporting
--Tomcat #3 Access Review

Or you can utilize different servers.

The net result is that with the AR 1.1 and IDM 4.5 releases, Access
Review and the Identity Applications can not be on the same Tomcat server.
