Active Directory Driver Without Windows Requirement

Many drivers can run on a local Linux engine server or Linux remote loader server, but the AD driver has historically had to have a remote loader installed and maintained on a Windows server.

With the introduction of PowerShell Core, Microsoft has brought PowerShell running on .Net Core over to Linux. To my knowledge, the Active Directory module does not yet run on PowerShell Core, but you can do things like import a remote module as part of a session with a DC and execute commands that way. I'm not sure of all the components required for the AD or Multi-Domain AD drivers,  but it would be neat if the drivers had the ability to run on Linux using LDAP and PowerShell Core functionality.
