IDM driver queue entries get lost in case of eDirectory -6038 error / Optimize IDM error handling

We have sometimes the problem that when the eDirectory -6038 error comes up all queued events of the drivers TAO files on this affected server will be processed with this error. Some weeks ago we lost thousands of events during a bigger change. We had to rework everything manually.

From my point of view this system relevant error must be handled by the IDM engine and the operation must  result in a RETRY operation. Our support told us that this works a designed. The customer must handle this with a separate policy.

Enhancement request: Optimize IDM engine error handling so that this one and other unknown errors that i don't know yet will result in a RETRY operation...
