ServiceRegistry.json file created per project

Reading the documentation of the new JSON FormBuilder from IDM 4.8.0 I came across this chapter: Offline - Online Toggle where is described that in the ServiceRegistry.json you can configure the UserApp hostname and have the posibility to test the Forms you develop in Designer using real data.

Here: https://www.netiq.com/documentation/identity-manager-48/form_builder-481/data/form_builder-481.html#offline_online

Everything sounds very nice, but in the real world, on the customer side, things get complicated. Ussually a company has 2 or 3 environments (Development, Test/QualityAssurance, Production, etc...) and for each one you have one separate project. Also, in many cases the development is done on workstations provided by customers and there is no write-access to that file. This way, a developer ends up using one link for a few separate projects.

Best would be to have this file, the ServiceRegistry.json, created per-project and stored together with the project files in the workspace! Or maybe, even as a GCV or some variable in the project definition.

Can it be done?
