Additional field in the user's 'Request Status' page

Hi,

We are using IDM 4.0.2 on windows 2008 R2. We have few workflows (PRDs)
for getting share / group access in Active Directory. No issues on that
its working fine.

But, from the end users (User or Approver) point of view, as there is no
request number shown in the request status page, the users having
difficulties in finding the exact request if they have multiple requests
on same workflow.

So, is it possible to add another field/column - 'REQUEST NUMBER' on the
request status page. Please let us konw how this can be done if
possible.

I checked it in the User app administration - UI configs but it has very
few fields only, it doesnt have request number (or Process ID) on it.

Thanks,
Dinakaran

Re: Additional field in the user's 'Request Status' page

Unluckily you cannot configure the columns.

However, as a workaround, you may add a custom log activity with some
detail info as comment. The text will show when you hover over the
comments icon in the status dashboard.

Another way is to use the "Resource Name Override" property of your
start activity to create a custom display instead of displaying the PRD
name.

Re: Additional field in the user's 'Request Status' page

Thanks for the workaround.

I thought of the same.

I am thinking of getting the process-id after submit (like
flowdata.recipient, flowdata.processid??), and put or concatenate it
with comments.

But is it possible to get the Process-ID (or Request ID) from the
workflow during user submit.?

Thanks for your quick reply...

Re: Additional field in the user's 'Request Status' page

The Request ID is the DN of the PRD, and the Process ID is not created
until after the request is submitted.
