Assigning Resources to Containers - possible?

Jump to solution

Never tried it, so I'm curious. Which one's correct?

"The User Application allows you to assign a resource to a container. When you to assign a resource to a container, the users in the container are assigned that resource." (1)

"You can assign resources only to users. You cannot assign them to groups or containers." (2)

2) is correct

1) is copy and paste from roles and a strange mixture of containers to structure resources (srvprvResourceDefs objects) and user containers (Organization Unit objects)

Add a doc comment, track and see if it ever gets fixed. I am always curious to see the pace/rate at which they resolve these.

And i Just got one from 2 weeks ago resolved.  Very minor tweak. Always good seeing doc comments listened to/applied.
