Clarification on HPD configuration

Hi,

Going through the HPD installation and have come to the configuration of
the vault at http://tinyurl.com/mq4hgcr

There are schema extensions , an nmas method to install and a few jar
files to replace.
The documentation state with "Download the hpd-conf-vault-4.0.2A.zip
file to your Identity Vault server."
But it does not state if all steps should be done on all vault servers
or if it is enough with doing them on one.

I guess the nmas method as well as the replacement of the jar files
should be done on all servers while the schema extensions only needs to
be done once.
Acually I guess the nmas method should be installed on all eDir vault
servers while the jar files should be replaced on all IDM engine vault
servers.

Greetings Joakim,
when I wrote-up the steps originally it did have a note about
repeating for server. I will create a doc bug.

Re: Clarification on HPD configuration

It is pretty obvious but could be troublesome if you just follow the
instructions and do not reflect o what you actually are doing.

The same applies to the designer update, if we have many designers
installed do everyone need to be updated? Again I think it would be best
to update all of them even if it is not strictly necessary.

Yes, every instance of Designer that might ever deploy the UA driver
needs to be updated or they will break the config.

Since it will show up in AU5 built in, this is a short term problem.

Re: Clarification on HPD configuration

This one apparently doe not need to be done more than once:
nmasinst -addmethod eDirectoryAdmin TreeName ./config.txt
