Configuring dynamic expression values in DAL layer

Hi,

As part of a requirement, we need to map values from ED to a specific
value so that new value will be reflected in the userapplication portal
during run time (eg: For a title attribute in ED, value is "C" and in
user application portal, under my profile we need to show it as "CD").

How can we achieve this with out changing the ED value in DAL
configurations?

Thanks,
Agnel

You could use a list object to have the eDir value as the key value and then your display value. This would also allow you
to localize the text if needed. Then you just need to change the form to lookup that value.

If you don't want a list object in the DAL you could use an object in eDir for the titles that you could then go do a lookup
on to get the display value.
