Creating a publisher side event from a migrate into sync

Trying to create a event coming down the publisher channel from a
migrate into event syncing down the subscriber side on a JDBC driver. I
have one column that is set to notify in the filter because it gets its
value derived in the vault, however that attribute is never queried for
with the rest of the columns. I need this event to come down publisher
so that it hits the publisher side policies as any normal event coming
down would, so that it hits the policy in the command transform that
derives the vault attribute value from the one in the database. Has
anyone successfully generated a modify, down the publisher from a
sync/instance transaction coming through subscriber?

Thanks for the help

I think you mean "migrate from" rather than "migrate into"

Are you matching existing objects in the connected system as a result
of the migrate/sync operation?

In the filter, the attribute that is set to notify only, make sure you
set the merge authority to "Application" for this attribute. (If I
understand you correctly, the application is is authoritative for this
attribute).

Also, if it still does't work. I suggest that you moving the pub-ctp
policy you wrote to the input transform. This way the instance document
returned by a query will contain your reformatted attribute value.

As always, a level 3 trace of this problematic transaction would help
us understand what you are trying to do.
