Customer Package Catalog

Hi,

When i go under Preferences -> Novell -> Package Manager -> Online
Updates and add my Own Package URL, which is a File
(file://server\location\packages\released).

The user im Logged into the Workstation where the Designer runs has
access to this location, but when i try to update the Packages i get the
error "Connection refused".

What i did not find is the possibility to add credentials for this
Server location.

I got a windows7 Workstation.

How can i give him the username and password for the authentication?

Thanks for your help.
Kind Regards
Andi

Online Repos do not support authentication, afaik, though it would be nice if
they did.

Format is funny.

file:///c:/path/even/on/winders

so three slashes, and then forward slashes, even on Windows.

file:///C:\Path\to\folder works as well. Looks weird, though.

That is good to know. Cuz it was intuitively obvious either way...
