DNLookup - filter results

Hello everyone!

I have a question regarding DNLookup using in workflows. (Version 4.7)

In the workflow the user has the possibility to search for a contact person with DNLookup, but he are only allowed to find users with the same company value. To use only a DNQuery is not an option because there are still too many users

Now my questions:

  • is it possible to configure the DNLookup to search only for user with the same company value as the user who started the workflow? (without creating an own entitiy for every company)
  •  or can I combine a DNLookup with a DNQuery, so that the DNLookup only search the results of a DNQuery

Thanks in Advance & best regards

Tobias

Re: DNLookup - filter results

Hey Tobias,
i had nearly the same problem in the past. I created a workaround like an own "lookup" via query:
i defined "search fields" and processed them to a query to get a list of results with all the users:

You cant control dnlookup with an input of parameters.

Philipp

Re: DNLookup - filter results

Sorry, no.

DNLookup is restricted to use entities.

Your best option I think is to use a query.

I did a similar query even though a bit more comlex here:
