Dashboard of recent events

What dashboards are people using for their LDAP based data? I'm putting this under IDM as I'm assuming you can do this with Identity Application widgets.

I have attributes populated for lifecycle events, such as terminations, creations, job changes, leave of absence, etc.

I want to expose this to others that shouldn't have access to an LDAP browser.

It would be nice to have a dashboard that they could look at to see a trend of account lifecycle change events for a range of days as well as today. And then also be able to see the data itself returned from the search.

With Identity Application you can add a widget and with eDir rest integration, in theory you could use the search rest call to pull in the data query you want.

Maybe an IGA 6.x enhancement having an LDAP widget???

Thoughts?

Don't look to my reply like advertisement of external product, but I use for this purpose SkyPro Audit Driver that inject events to corporate ELK instance.

This driver is part of Audit & Compliance Dashboard product, that include all required components.

https://www.skypro.eu/en/products/idm-audit-dashboard/

Special package can include audit components to any existing driver (Subscriber or Publisher channel)

Looks like Power BI might be an option with the eDir API.

You could configure an entity in IDM, then grant access to view various attributes from the entities.  This essentially allows you to provide view and modify rights in a delegated way right from within the IDM Applications UI:

There is also the ability to do dashboard widgets as well.  First thing is to get the data exposed via the DAL, then query it to provide some nice little widgets.

https://www.netiq.com/documentation/identity-manager-47/identity_apps_admin_474/data/netiq-change-identity-applications-cliet-settings.html#netiq-identity-applications-manage-dashboard-widgets

I don't have too much experience putzing with the widgets, but the entity is great as we can expose any object and control who can view and modify it.
