Define Entitlement for Resource Assignment

Hi,

I'm using RBPM 4.0.1, I want to map and eDirectory entitlement to a
resource. I've created the eDirectory driver and a UserAccount
entitlement. When I acces to Browse Entitlements in the User Application
it says :

Error: No Entitlements were found. You either do not have permission to
bind to entitlements or have not configured entitlements for resource
mapping. Please see documentation for further details.

I saw the cool solution for RBPM 3.7. Is it applicable for RBPM 4.0.1
and eDirectory driver?

yes.. a properly configured EntitlementConfiguration object needs to be
present for binding entitlements to a resource in Userapp 3.7 and higher

The cool solution for 3.7 still applies for 4.0.1

With the caveat that all the Packaged IDM4 drivers should have the rules
to handle the built in entitlements.

Re: Define Entitlement for Resource Assignment

Hi, I'm encountring the same problem with Groupwise driver. I followed
the steps defined in the cool solution but I can not see GroupWise
entitlements in the user application. The EntitlementConfiguration
object that have been created doesn't contain the right values for
enabling resource mapping entitlements.
Here is the content of EntitlementConfiguration object:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><entitlement-configuration
modified="20120430030119">
<entitlements>
<entitlement dn="CN=gwAccount,CN=GroupWise Driver,CN=Driver
Set,O=system" resource-mapping="false" role-mapping="false"/>
<entitlement dn="CN=gwDistLists,CN=GroupWise Driver,CN=Driver
Set,O=system" resource-mapping="false" role-mapping="false"/>
</entitlements>
</entitlement-configuration>

Short term, disable the rule in the itp-InitEntitlementsConfiguration,
then fix the XML in the EntitlementsConfiguration object (The rule
overwrites the object every driver restart).

Set resource-mapping and role-mapping to true and see if that helps.

You might ask this over in support.userapp-workflow. The UA guys hang out
there.
