DisplayExpression attribute wont be resolved in the UA (sometimes)

Hi.

I'm experiencing a really weird problem after upgrading IdM to 4.7.4 and eDirectory to 9.2.1

We have different workflows where departments are loaded to a picklist. If you are admin of the workflow you will see all department (aprox 730) otherwise you will only get those you are allowed to administrate.

When i start my workflow from a management server in the test environment subnet I get the expected result. The DN's loads first and after a couple of seconds the DisplayExpression Atrribute is shown.

The other case (where it does not work) is when accessing the UA from my host PC using a VPN connection. When doing this the display expression wont get loaded and I can se the following error in the catalina.out

2020-06-29 13:28:51,129 ERROR [com.novell.ajax.juice.AjaxServiceHandlerMgr] (https-jsse-nio-8443-exec-3) [RBPM] An error occurred processing the request.

When it works I see all the LDAP requests for resolving the DisplayExpression. When it does not work I see nothing. So for some reason it fails before getting the attributes on the UA side I guess.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before?

I'm thinking that there must be some kind of difference in the http request? I've been troubleshooting this for quite some time now, and I'm out of suggestions. Any help is much appreciated

Kind Regards

Carsten Jørgensen
