Force a password update in AD for all users managed by IDM

Hi

I don't know if this is possible, but I have been asked if there is a
way to force a password update in AD for all users managed by IDM? We
currently have user and password changes synced from Edir to IDM and
then to AD.

We have a company in looking at migrating us to Active directory fully
and wants to know the above so it can intercept password changes to
update the password in FIM and connected systems.

Many thanks,
Anthony

If the filter is set correctly, you could resync the driver and it would
send the password you already have to the connected system.

Pity for them, but it should work.

There was a thread about "force password reset at next login" just a
week ago. You should be able to find your answer there.

Forgot what setting it was, setting the uac is a bit special.

I resemble that comment. Is not uac. Rather it is just set everyones
pwdLastSet to 0.

Many thanks for taking the time to reply, good to hear it is possible. I
am just trying to find the other thread for reference. Is there any
instructions you can provide me on how to re-sync the driver, it was
setup by another company many years ago and I don't want to break
anything?

In iManager, the option "migrate from identity value" issues a driver re-
sync.
