Get GUID using IDVault.get()

Hi, I'm having some issues when trying to retrieve the GUID of a driver object.
Using IDVault.get() returns a string like: IQ
I need the GUID to compare with part of the value of the attribute DirXML-Accounts, which contains the GUID of the related driver object, but it shows the guid like this: F989E5DA-01CC-4901-8F51-DAE589F9CC01
Also, I noticed that if I create a new ldif file via Apache Directory Studio the value of the guid is: 2uWJ+cwBAUmPUdrlifnMAQ==
Can anyone give me some light?
