HTML button

I have a series of HTML form fields with buttons in a request form to
which I would like to apply a CSS style. I am trying to get all the
buttons to be the same width. I looked at the theme preview, and it
appears the element type is portlet-form-button, but I can't get the CSS
field style of {width: 200px} to apply. Has anyone done something
similar?

Thank you
