How to Pass dynamic Access Token to Add POST REST API while user creation using NetIQ Rest Connector

Hi,

We are developing a rest connector in which we need to call OAuth REST API(supports only query parameters) for generating a new access token. This new access token has to be passed in the Add Rest API headers while creating a new user every time. How can we do this using a REST connector. We tried using the Authentication type as OAuth, but the driver is unable to start. Could you please suggest few ideas.

Thanks

Prasanthi

Re: How to Pass dynamic Access Token to Add POST REST API while user creation using NetIQ Rest Conne

So assuming you can implement the Oauth call youorself and get the token needed in the header, you would add it to the as a

node sort of like this:

<header SomeHeaderName="somevalue"/>

You would use Append XML element to add a header node, with a target of driver-operartion-data (or maybe ../driver-operation-data I forget when in the doc the node actually i).

Then Append XML attribute to set the SomeHEaderName and value attribute.

Re: How to Pass dynamic Access Token to Add POST REST API while user creation using NetIQ Rest Conne

Hi

I am unable to generate access token in REst Driver. The Auth Rest API is a post url. How to use POST Auth url in Rest driver to generate the access token for every new add call for an user.

Thanks
